Why We Built This Site
Louisiana opens a great deal of court and law enforcement material to public view, but it spreads the material across offices that rarely answer for one another. A warrant does not sit in one file cabinet. The court that issues it sets the charge and any bond, while the sheriff's warrants division serves it and can say whether it is still open. A warrant for a missed court date usually stays with the municipal or justice of the peace court that set the case, not with the parish at all.
Louisiana does not run a statewide warrant index. The Department of Public Safety and Corrections publishes a curated most wanted page for selected probation and parole cases, and that program is not a complete register. A reader can check one office, find nothing, and wrongly conclude the matter is closed.
So we gathered the contact blocks, the portal links, the warrant-number formats, and the written request steps for each St. Mary Parish channel and put them side by side, with the gaps stated plainly where no public tool exists.
What You Will Find Here

- Outstanding warrants: how to check for active warrants and what an active status actually means
- Missed court dates: how bench warrants arise and which court holds one
- Charge-based warrants: how arrest warrants are issued and served in St. Mary Parish
- Resolving a warrant: the path from an attorney consultation to posting bond and a motion to recall or quash
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Louisiana court, sheriff's office, or state agency. The limits are real:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm that a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant in any system
- We cannot post bond or take a payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or say how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot promise that every phone number, fee, or listing here is current today
Only the court that issued a warrant or the sheriff's warrants division that holds it can confirm whether it exists or whether it has been recalled. We can point you to the right office, and the answer has to come from that office.
Search Partners
Search boxes on some pages of this site are supplied by outside providers. Those companies run their own services and set their own prices. When a visitor uses one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may receive a referral fee, and that revenue helps keep the rest of the site free to read.
We do not control what those providers charge or what appears in their results, and a partner result is not an official warrant check. The official answer still comes from the issuing court or the sheriff.
